I worked for 20 years as a conference interpreter, but then I felt the urge to get out of my narrow cabin and to do something very concrete out in the open air.  After a few courses in permaculture I got this revelation : another world is possible !  But in fact, in the field of fruit growing, we just came back to what was done for centuries : a grazed and diverse orchard.

Julien has a degree in philosophy and has been teaching in high school for over 20 years.  He wrote a book (vivre sur terre) about the psychological mechanisms that inhibit us from getting out of the present environmental impasse.
